Catussaba Resort Hotel

It was a quiet place, very far from the center of Salvador, with a supermarket 2 blocks away but very isolated. The hotel was very basic in its rooms, the management staff was not very friendly, but the waiters were very kind. The place was very quiet, with good pools; the beach was not very suitable for swimming, with a lot of waves. It had a good breakfast, varied. It is close to the airport. We had to change rooms because the air conditioning was leaking. The natural environment is worth it, but not its rooms.

Reception service: poor and unfriendly. I have never been attended by such unfriendly people since the first day of my stay. No willingness to help or make us comfortable. Service from the waiters in the restaurant: poor in the vast majority of cases. Slow and forgetful. With few exceptions, they do not have a customer service culture (especially those working during breakfast time). Just what is necessary. Quality of the menu: mediocre and with a poor selection. We felt that the dishes were not made with interest and care. Breakfast: complete in variety, but one of the coffee machines stopped working and was not repaired. Rooms: clean, but one person in the group got a room with peeling paint due to humidity. The room change was done reluctantly and with a noticeable lack of willingness. The courtyard and the scenery of the place are very beautiful, but it is full of pigeons. If a pigeon bothering you by climbing onto your table is an issue, this is not your place. The street vendors enter the supposedly private beach. They are rude, and there is no one from the hotel attending to that detail. Outside the hotel, we were attended to excellently.

Good resort for family! Good food and fair price! Very beautiful for those who love the sea and like to take pictures! Well-equipped rooms and excellent bed!
