Golden Tulip Rio Vermelho

Wonderful staff, helpful, clean hotel, spacious rooms, exceptional sea view and food full and welcoming, but, the cleaning service peca! I only stayed 3 nights in this hotel and in 2 days I had to charge cleaning of the room that until 16:00 had not occurred and after performing, it became clear that they had not cleaned the bathroom, nor replace the toilet paper.

Nightmare experience: poor cleanliness, nonexistent maintenance, and dishonest management I strongly advise against the Novotel Rio Vermelho. My stay was a disappointment in every respect, starting with an extremely cold and unprofessional management and staff. The care of the room was nonexistent: I asked for tea in the room, and the provided cups were visibly dirty. Maintenance was equally lacking: I reported twice that the air conditioning was dripping profusely in the room, but the problem was never resolved. Furthermore, the sink was completely clogged; despite my two calls to the reception to request assistance, no one showed up. However, the worst came on the day of check-out. Before letting me leave, they sent someone to check the minibar, charging me for four bottles of water and blatantly ignoring that my personal belongings were also inside, which I forgot when I left. As soon as I realized the oversight, I called the establishment. The initial response was that nothing had been found. Only after insisting firmly did my belongings "magically reappear." However, when they returned them to me, three items were missing, and one was even half-consumed. It has now been more than a week that I have been calling daily for explanations, but I am constantly bounced back with the excuse that the responsible parties are "always in a meeting." Of course, no one has ever called me back. Total lack of professionalism, hygiene, and honesty. Absolutely avoid this establishment.

Hotel staff very attentive and polite, from the reception to the pool on the roof. We were taken care of by camarader Tainá who kept the room impeccable. The restaurant is great and serves excellent dishes in addition to the breakfast with typical Bavarian dishes.
