Pousada La Siciliana

I am writing on behalf of my parents who stayed at the pousada 5 days. They liked the place very much. The pousada is located one block from the beach. The room was very nice and clean. I made all the arrangements for them since they are senior citizens (76 & 81 years old) and the all the staff made their best to make them feel comfortable and taken care of. I specially would like to thank Paula and Raniel for being so kind and helpful.

Quite nice location if you want to spend the whole day lying on the beach. Although, not so good if you aim to visit the classic sightseeings of the city, unless you don't mind paying a taxi to drive you 40 minutes to the city center. In addition, there are almost unexisted options around the hotel for dinner at night + it's not quite a safe place to have a stroll after 6! Breakfast is okay, not too many options and not so tasty! At least, the hotel is next to the airport, so the taxi is not so expensieve to get there!

We arrived at the pousada arround 10pm from airport, and unhapilly for us our only chance of food was the fridge in the room. Neighbourhood isnt very appeling at night. Room was spacious and clean, nice bathroom, and a veranda to front street (that become a litle noisy from all trafic passing). On the morning we awakened to a parcial vew of the beach, went there for a walk, its really nice. Breakfast was tasty and well assorted.
