This hotel is located across a dirt road from the beach. The lobby and restaurant are very rustic, like what you might normally see in a mountain lodge. Rooms are at best sparse, the bed is a mattress on boards, the TV is tube, maybe 20 inch, hanging from the ceiling. Air conditioner works. The bathroom is old but functional and as clean as it could be based on the condition. There is very little within walking distance of the hotel but there are good restaurants in the area and stores for all you might need. The pool area is more like a kids play area with concrete animals but it does have a swim up bar. When we were there in November it was just before the summer season so the place was almost empty. The WiFi was very slow but did work.
