Brisamar Hotel Sao Luis

This was booked with my travel agency before and after my trip to Lençois Maranheses. I host my just slept here. It is right on the beach which is nice but far away from the historic city center. The staff was friendly. They don’t speak English but I was able to get by just fine.

The hotel is facing the sea, and has a great restaurant on the ground floor, Restaurante da Juja. The room is spacious, tub shower is good, we slept one night only. But there is a lack of repairs in the bathroom. The door was kind of without paint, peeling, the ceiling was moulded and what I found pretty bad, towels extremely sealed, giving the impression of dirty!

Great hotel with fantastic breakfast and beautiful seaside view. My only complaint was the number of messages when booking to confirm arrival time, which had already been confirmed upon booking. Upon arrival I was given a long tour with a lot of unnecessary information which for a tired traveler it was a bit too much :)
