Drina Village Hotel

This place is a little oasis of peace and quiet in a busy city. We arrived late in the evening and were welcomed with coffee and cake, while the night porter brought our bags to the apartment. We stayed here for 9 days and very quickly felt at home. Breakfast is, understandably, not too varied, but fresh and tasteful. The apartments are very clean, well furnished and equipped. Beds are very good and comfortable as well. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. Closeby is a metro station which is a good and fast means of transportation (only one line though, crossing a large part of the city). Unless you are travelling by car (there is no garage available), this is a perfect place to stay.

Just want to echo the thoughts of some previous reviewers. This really is a good choice in Belo Horizonte for the price. It is a small hotel located in a safe, residential area with very convenient access to the Metro station. The city centre is about 10 mins away by Metro. The rooms themselves are clean, modern and more like compact serviced apartments. Probably because of its small size, the owner & staff are eager to please and helpful in the extreme. I would say this is perhaps the hotel's strongest plus point. Don't expect an all-singing, all-dancing 5 star hotel but it has its own strengths.

Great place to stay in Belo Horizonte. Modern, relaxed atmosphere, quiet, new and confortable rooms, free wi-fi and breakfast... Staff always ready to help. I consider a very good value for money. Subway station is just 100 yards away and it takes just a 10/15 minutes to city center.
