This hotel is only for those who have heavy sleep. Other than that I suggest another hotel. I stayed in 4 rooms in this hotel and with the exception of the first (internal and couple), even though on the first day of the stay used the hallways of the hotel as a deposit, which generated a lot of noise, in no other I could sleep. I stayed in 2 near the breakfast salon and not only because it was passing, but one inside was stuck to the kitchen, the other outside suffered from the movement of the street forward, this contributed even more to impeding sleep.
Brazilian hotels in city centers barely have acoustic treatment. Here the windows and doors (one of the rooms had a small balk) are of ordinary residences, so there is no filter for external noise and even being old, not even the internal sounds were amenized.
The advantage of staying in the Center with power options, laser and transportation, has as counterpoint the dangerousness, dirt, begging and the noise... a lot of noise.
The hotel does not accept online or credit card payment. After the payment, more than a thousand and five hundred reals were spent on fraud in the same card used here. And started the same day as the last stay payment. A card that I never use, as it is the only one that is not by approximation. All very suspicious.
The rooms, whether for couples or singles, are small, although it is clear that singles are worse. The basics of comfort: TV with open channels (all the remote controls were coverless... all, without exception), small fridge bar (but until it freezes well) placed on the floor, which depending on the level of the floor impeded even to open the door and a good air conditioning Split.
All the hotels that have warnings that denote concern with the enxoval, are exactly those that provide the enxoval of bed and bath most stained, dirty and damaged... finally the worst. In the wardrobe only 2 cabides – the guests of this hotel only have the body clothes? The door lock is not reliable (it is the same as a common room in the house), at least it has a “thief catch” type lock, but it has no magic eye.
The rooms are dark and depressing. Lack of light in the mirror which makes it difficult to use the tooth wire and make the beard. The number of 127V sockets is minimal, however there are several caps, in addition to those installed in locations that do not meet anything.
The mattresses are regular and the pillows are awful.
There was a small counter that barely fit my notebook and mouse/keyboard set. The wifi internet is the worst. I believe that by the hotel being old, they signed a plan at the beginning of the internet and did not update, so it is terrible in all respects. Slow, unstable, constant falls and with rooms where the signal barely arrives – that was what happened in the last rooms that stayed at the end of the hotel – to the point that in the end I was forced to use an open internet that is not the hotel. I find it a shame that in the middle of the 21st century, with the plans getting cheaper at the same time as the speed is increasing, in addition to counting on the advantage of no data transfer limits, there are still hotels that do not offer such a fundamental service as that of quality. The TV is smart, that is, it is possible to connect on the internet wifi and watch Netflix, but as the internet does not help, you will be even in the bad open TV program.
All the rooms I stayed in had a private bathroom, with a tap so short (only cold water) that I barely washed my hands. The shower is electric and in the coldest months can be a problem. I was amazed that in such a new shower I was already with half the water outlets clogged, throwing half the water to one side and the other half to the other. Imagine what the water box cleaning should be like. Just a bath towel, a rug, a sachet of shampoo and a little soap. I asked the maid if it was just a bath towel. She answered with another question: was it just one person? I asked: so should I use the bath towel to dry washed hands to eat? Do you use the same towel in your house as you take a bath to dry your hands for coffee? It's basic hygiene. If there is any problem and I need to take another bath, will I have to use the wet towel? It's not because it's just a person who should be just a bath towel. At least 2 bath towels and another face (or bath) to consider a hotel descent.
I went only one day to evaluate the coffee, because in addition to finishing earlier than the other hotels (9 hours), I had no doubt that I would follow the “standard” of the hotel. I wasn't wrong. Except for the bread, everything looked asleep. Nothing was identified – the juice, or you were experimenting, or asking to know what it was. It wasn't varied. I couldn't even finish with the gelatin. Horrible. There was only one common mystery that was hidden – I didn’t see anyone using it, maybe it was spoiled. My complaint goes to the loss of good hygiene practices that we learned during the pandemic, as there was no alcohol available. I do not understand why health surveillance does not punish collective food establishments that do not have alcohol.
The receptionist triggers a button to unlock the door both to enter and to exit. At the check-in you are not allowed in the room before 14:00. Not long ago, I watched a video demonstrating the times when they advance over our rights, but we tolerate and one of those things is appropriating hours of our daily life. And they take for themselves this right of us that they have come to the absurd of offering me to come in earlier, in exchange for a value. At the check-out check the room before releasing the guest. This is not a hotel. It's a maximum security jail and as dangerous and disgusting as it is.
The staff are even friendly, however, it was possible to see above that the relationship was not always friendly. Messages are made via Whatsapp, as there are no phones.
I find it absurd to ask you to confirm “again” the daily via Whatsapp, otherwise they cancel the reservation. You make the reservation using your credit card data, the reservation administrator says you don't need to confirm the reservation, yet the hotel sends a message with cancellation threats if you don't confirm. It's too much seen!
I requested the tax bill and they sent a document that has no connection with the stays.
I only released the room once for room service, but for internal confusion, it wasn't done.
Considering that I am not an “ordinary tourist”, since I have lived in hotels for more than a decade, what I most value as TV programming, air conditioning, fridge bar, internet wifi, maintenance and care, location, quality of sleep and, finally, most importantly, the relationship between these and the cost of the daily would say that the hotel was awful. This hotel boasts to be the best hotel in the centre, far from that, for an extra 30 to 50 reals per day there are other better ones that are worth the most. There are others of the same level to lower, but if I do not recommend this one, I will not recommend the others, as there is no benefit to be able to imply a possible cost/benefit relationship.
It has never been easy to get a good hotel in the center of any capital, as they are usually old projects and the age is felt, especially if the administration does not have much interest in updating it or keeping the maintenance up to date, because it is often better to charge a “price more in charge” than spending a high value on reforms – here they do neither one thing nor another. I put the expression above, because the supply and demand are still determinants of the value of the daily, so it is interesting to realize that exactly when the hotel crowd is high and the value of the daily is gone, it is the moment that the quality of the services provided fall as happened in this hotel: the internet that is already bad gets even worse, the only elevator is very competitive, the cafe is always full, the guests are very close and the lack of consideration of some of them generates hostility, etc. I've always hated living in hotels and after a decade, my patience is at its limit. You end up having a list of hotels where you don’t return at all – this one has entered the list – another list of hotels you prefer to avoid and in the middle of it all, you still have to consider the value of the daily. I’ve been avoiding hotels that are not networked, as usually, invasions into rooms when you’re away are common – not that this doesn’t happen in networked hotels, but it’s much less common. After all, the satisfaction of the guest is the least important. I knew it would not be a solution, but it has gone far from even being an option to the hospitality problem in the Centro de Belo Horizonte.

I was well served during my stay in Belo Horizonte. The breakfast is very good and the accommodation as well. The place is well located and allows walking to some tourist attractions. The environment is clean and organized. The cost benefit was worth it. Super recomendo.

We had a bad experience with the stay at the hotel.
We were not well served as to the services, we stayed 4 days, we paid around R$700,00 and in no day was the sanitation in the room, not to mention that the products such as Shampoo, soap and toilet paper were not available.
We collected the garbage, left it in a corner and during the 4 days it was not taken.
The same happened with the bathroom floor cloth that was not changed, nor did towels were delivered.
Lack of consideration and zeal for the client.
I hope other guests don't have the same experience!
