Our stay was very good - after all, Monte Verde is a sensational destination! The facilities of the guesthouse are good (the heated pool was very appreciated by the children), the service is very good and the breakfast is excellent! However, I make important observations for the direction of the guesthouse: it is necessary to invest in the air conditioning of the environments. The installation of air conditioning in the rooms and in the restaurant is, in my opinion, essential, especially when it comes to a location where you can easily reach temperatures near and below zero. Although the guest house offers excellent blankets, we spend a lot of cold inside the room (and no one stays 100% of the time inside the room under the blankets); while we had breakfast, we also spent a lot of cold (drinks and hot meals, for example, cooled quickly, precisely because of the lack of air conditioning in the restaurant). I notice that we lit the fireplace available in the room, but using it exactly the way we were guided by the staff of the guesthouse, the result was null, that is, there was no increase in the temperature of the accommodation. Investing in installing hot/cold air conditioning in all environments will surely change the level of the establishment and will surely not represent an absurd cost. I add that Wi-Fi left a lot to be desired, being another important point of attention for the direction, for the purposes of correction and improvement.

This was my second stay at Pousada Portal das Videiras and, once again, the experience was excellent. The guesthouse is very well cared for, with comfortable, clean and welcoming facilities, providing a very pleasant stay. The breakfast is a highlight apart: varied, tasty and prepared with a lot of capricho. I would also like to praise the attention of the entire team. All staff were extremely polite, attentive and helpful, making us feel very well received throughout our stay. Without a doubt, it is a place that conveys comfort and hospitality. I recommend the guesthouse with closed eyes and will definitely come back other times when you are in Monte Verde!

The second time we stayed in this hostel. Besides the attendees who are very efficient and friendly, the guesthouse is very cozy. Bed linen and bathroom of great quality, clean apartment, hot shower and hot water in the bathroom sink. Very good breakfast really. The only problem is that it is not close to the street of commerce to walk , but it is in a very good and quiet area .
