Hotel Solar do Rosario

Very good, but care and communication were lacking: the hotel knew we would be arriving by car, and that 2 of our group of 3 were elderly. They didn't bother to inform us that the hotel was having a party, that the access roads were closed, that in front of the main entrance there were tables everywhere, crowded with people. They could have communicated and guided us about another access option. We took a long time to arrive, it was stressful, and we only managed because a local kindly guided us.

Beautiful and very comfortable hotel. Wonderful staff, kind and helpful. All our requests made around the celebrations of my 60th birthday were met promptly, making my day even more special

Very charming hotel but needs maintenance. Environments with paint, carpets, curtains and floor poor care. We stayed in the Executive Suite, but the bathrobes and bedding provided did not correspond to the announced at the time of the reservation. Shower with little water press and leakage in the sink, requiring maintenance. Old TV and air conditioner, deserved an update. Very attentive and available reception! Covered pool and clean sauna, with beautiful architecture, very nice. Very beautiful and well-careful indoor gardens with wonderful views! The breakfast disappointed me. Inefficient care, taste left to be desired, poor quality coffee powder. Despite the beauty of the spaces and the attentive care of the hotel staff, the general state of conservation of the facilities and the restaurant and coffee service do not justify the amount charged for the stay. It looks pretty in the photos but does not deliver everything it promises...
