Everything is new in this hotel, and there is no mold smell, wich is a great thing for Ouro Preto. Nevertheless, the room isn't dark enough, the bed is too firm, and small. The room is very clean...

Excellent location in the middle of town but also very quiet, no noise heard while sleeping. The bed sheets were exceptionally soft, very comfortable! Beautiful decor, furniture and artwork around...

The Pousada do Douro is a lovely little pousada smack dab in the center of Ouro Preto. It's the "little sister" to the Pousada Mondego next door, where we had our delicious breakfast every morning...
