Hotel Fazenda Vale da Mantiqueira

I really like Mantiqueira. I went 2 times and intend to return other times

The hotel is really very big and is undergoing some renovations. The structure is great and offers great potential to the hotel. There are trains and buses (a total of 4) that transport the guests. The waiting time did not exceed 10 minutes at any time. The hotel offers pedal boats, kayaks, fishing, archery, circus activities, cinema, all included in the rates. Arborism and zip-lining are paid separately. There are outdoor playgrounds near the lake that entertain the children a lot. There is also a park called Kids Adventure. One of the highlights of the hotel for me. Various toys, tree climbing, being very important for rainy days. It was 11 PM and there are no monitors. The heated and covered pools are very good. Great toys and several sun loungers. The infinity pool, as several previous comments mentioned, is beautiful and very cold. And look, it was almost 30 degrees when I went and practically impossible to get in. The room we stayed in was spacious and had a beautiful view (Benteví building). The meals work with a full board system serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner. In other reviews, I had already seen reviews mentioning this part and agreed since I found the menu to have little variety and be very repetitive throughout the 4 days of stay compared to other farm hotels. For the desserts, we had to guess what they were, because there were no signs with the names. Some cakes were hard, clearly from days ago. High demand for drink requests and few employees to serve. Regarding recreation, I found the little my daughter attended (4 years - mini recreation) to be quite bad. The day after our arrival was farm day, which she loves. The little farm with few animals (there's practically only a cow) with discouraged recreationists reading on their phones the explanations. My daughter didn't want to finish the outing and wanted to go play in the playground. At another time we tried the recreation again and arriving there, recreationists sitting and playing on their phones and children dancing imitating what was on TV (in other farm hotels, the same activity would be done along with the recreationists who would be dancing, participating, and animating). Then they went to play hide-and-seek and the recreation leader only found half the children and left the ones who weren't found there until the other recreation leader reminded her to go find the other children. The country village was very well devoured. With a quadrille that was animated and presented with fireworks. Good food, but don't delay eating the sweets. There was still an hour left until the party ended when we went to eat the sweets and there was practically nothing left. Typical games for children. I missed the recreation at the parties (since it happens at other hotels during the June festivals). The hotel has great potential, I recommend, but with the reservations made above.

Good afternoon We are 10 years coming to the Vale da Mantiqueira farm hotel. We admire the place, the staff who are super attentive, the care for every detail of the parties and the decoration. All wonderful meals I want to highlight the excellent service from Mislene who attended to us with great attention and care.
