Marina Vip Club Resort & Spa

We had a bad experience starting with the shower that only leaves cold water believes we took a cold bath for 3 days and then the lock was very bad we almost couldn't open the room and we almost stayed locked out the hostess did nothing about the shower water, I don't recommend to anyone this hostel

These photos in the description are not recent, the furniture is all spent, the bedroom handle barely opened, we arrived at dawn and we were almost locked out of the room, we had to take a cold bath because if more than one person took a bath the hot water of the whole place was over, the tbm discharge did not work so do the needs there tbm did not, the towels were all stained and the couple mattress all dirty / background, the nearby beach is the simplest of buzios, to go to the famous beaches you have to pick up van and it is half an hour away from the guesthouse. Although the lady who cares is caring, she doesn't want to ignore these things.

This isn't a VIP Club, Resort or Spa. It is a very nice little pousada. It is in an odd location, looks like someone promised that the land would be the next big area and these guys were the only ones who bought there. The couple who run it are lovely, they helped us to the room with our bags, gave us a bucket filled with waters, beers, cokes and Ice. The room was fine, bed comfy, shower not really hot enough but it is summer in Rio so? Breakfast was good, standard fare with freshly cooked eggs. At the height of season (or immediately after a groupon) I can imagine this place might be less cool but for us on a quiet weekend it was ideal. The parking is next door still but there is gravel down rather than long grass, It isn't far from the beach but maybe a bit too far to walk and is a short drive from the centre of Buzios so not ideal if you are the designated driver for a nice meal out.
