Pousada Lagamar

We had a great time at Pousada Lagamar - Beatriz was very helpful and communicative, and the room was lovely. The views were great and the water in the bay was very warm and clear. You have limited choice regarding restaurants but this is to be expected when you stay on an island! If you want more variation (and tourists!) then go to Abraao, however this was more peaceful and less noisy/touristy. The staff were friendly and spoke many languages, and there was even some live music one of our nights there that we enjoyed. We left feeling very relaxed - thank you!

Beautiful inn. Sofia's attention and if equipment is the most. Breakfast of the best, cleaning 10 points.; two minutes from. Sea and in it. Medium of nature. All it lacks is bidet to the bathrooms (or their substitutes) vital for an Argentine.

I thought I was going to have a great week-end on Ihla Grande, but unfortunately I had to cancel my full holiday last minute, including losing my flight tickets to Brazil and basically losing >1500 euros. The Pousada Lagamar booking is non-refundable and I fully understand that they keep a good portion of the booking fee. However the lady barely replied 24h later to my panicked Whatsapp and basically fully rejected any partial re-imbursement. For me it's a complete lack of good-will and understanding, and it just shows lack of empathy and care for travellers mishaps.
