Pousada Quinta dos Passaros

Very nice place, quiet. Very kind service. Our room (9) was quite spacious and the bathroom huge. It has a good breakfast and serves both lunch and dinner. Prices on average.

We were in 4 adults at Pousada Quinta dos Pássaros to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and the choice couldn’t have been better. We already knew the beautiful condominium where she stays, and is excellent for walks. When we arrived we encountered an impeccable landscape and crowned with a beautiful and well-careed casarão that rests at the shade of 2 huge trees and that elevate the charm of the place. The shadow of these trees is a great invitation to relaxation and chats with friends on the edge of the pool or the many charming spaces of the place. The hydro, sauna and the good tennis court were very benefited by us, and all this in a quiet environment where you can only hear the wind in the trees and the singing of birds. Even the other hosts seemed selected, I believe infected with the peace of that place. Room and bathroom very comfortable, clean and fragrant. Soft and inviting beds. The impeccable service, all of a lot of kindness and care, we arrived a little before the check-out time and still have already released the room. In the afternoon they prepared a coffee with a cake of courtesy for everyone. Excellent breakfast!

Positive points: All staff are very friendly, polite and welcoming. The view of the place is very beautiful. Good breakfast. Negative points: The whole place needs maintenance and cleaning, from the exterior area to the rooms. The first room I stayed in smelled like mold, it was dusty, the door towels couldn't stand the towel, there was a nest of birds in the lining that made noise all morning. Shower hot/cool all the time. With a heavy rain, he had a drop over the bed. The staff immediately changed our room. The second room was better, bigger (because it was for 4 people), but the balcony with the mobile and dirty floor and the tub shower played of cooling. In the main room the sofas are stained, td gives a loose appearance. Since the employees are very caring, I think that if you have a management of these pbms the hostel has the potential to improve.
