The couple who run this guest lodging are calm relaxed, maybe even hippyish. The rooms are not what Europeans would call luxury, they are basic although the gardens are relaxing and lush with a range of tropical plants and trees. This is the exciting part... Whilst having breakfast a family of Sajui (miniature monkeys) came to join us. They were tmid and had been visiting the owners occasionally for a prepared slice of banana.
They didn't come near the tables and we were only close enough to see them close up without frightening them off but hat an amazing natural experience!
Breakfast was usual for Brazil, a mix of breads, cakes and fruit, pretty much as expected.
Funny to see the Brits not making the effort to say "Bon Dia" to the other locals but rather look at each other or their food to avoid talking... Come on gus, get with the environment and make the effort, it will be rewarding for you and you find out a little more about the wildlife too.
