Pousada Pontal Gardens

We were very well received and welcomed by an extremely friendly, attentive, and competent "staff," in a rustic but beautiful, graceful, and comfortable environment (with special mention of the excellent air conditioning, large SmartTV, mini-fridge, "queen" bed, amenities, and shower with a boiler, all with 4-star standards). We are in room 6, which still has a hot tub in a private outdoor area, very pleasant for relaxing. Breakfast is served at the table, in a very pleasant environment, with some good options. The location is excellent for those who like, as is our case, to be close to everything, within walking distance: 2 minutes from Pontal beach, 5 minutes from Historic Center, 10 minutes from the Fort, 15 minutes from Jabaquara beach. The inn is on Hospital Street, which, although it does not have the beauty of the streets of the Historic Center, is a quiet residential street, with easy and smooth access to the beach and the Historic Center, having, in front of the hospital, a very complete and interesting cafeteria, with a variety of sweets, savory snacks, drinks, etc. We hope to return, especially if the Inn adopts the improvements we suggested, which we usually find in the 4-star accommodations we have stayed at, which were: more variety and more options for breakfast, more closet space (the closet in the room is relatively small), a small safe in the room, and towel racks near the shower (the current racks are behind the bathroom door, on the opposite side of the shower).

All wonderful! Fantastic Hostel

I spent 3 days at Pousada Pontal Gardens and the experience was excellent. Since the arrival, I was received with a lot of sympathy and attention. Night check-in was all right and has guest house parking at the door. The guesthouse is beautiful, charming, very well cared for and surrounded by a garden that conveys a sense of peace and tranquility. The room was very comfortable, I chose the Junior suite, extremely clean and cozy. The breakfast deserves a special highlight: everything very fresh, tasty with multiple choices of what you want to eat, the girls give a show in the service. In addition, the location is excellent, allowing you to walk to the Historic Center and Pontal Beach, without having to use the car. During the three days I felt very well received, seems to be being received as a member of the family. The staff was always helpful, giving great tips on tours and restaurants, making our trip even more special. It was definitely one of the best stays I have ever had in Paraty. I would recommend Pousada Pontal Gardens for those looking for comfort, impeccable service and an excellent location in Paraty. You could come back!
