Copacabana Mar Hotel

Bathroom was not the same as photo of bathroom on website. Does this breach trades description?? Towels were grey and old and not even suitable for drying our dog. We asked to be moved to a renovated room like the ones on the website but the receptionist said "Sorry the hotel is full". There are better hotels in the area for the same price.... choose them instead.

My experience at Copacabana Mar Hotel was extremely disappointing. The first night, lying in bed, a cockroach came out of the pillow. After an exhausting day with several flight cancellations, finding something like this was completely unacceptable. When reporting the incident to the manager the next morning, there was no compensation, just a room change — something that does not correspond to the gravity of the problem, given the lack of hygiene and the amount paid. The trip had a special character, as I was staying with my brother who does not live in Brazil, and the episode ended up prejudicing our stay. I expected much more from a hotel that promotes itself as well-rated and dedicated. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the accommodation.

4 star super hotel?? Maybe just in the lobby. Neglected and dirty bathroom worthy of even a 2 star. Elevator to the 4th floor operating only uphill. Breakfast just enough, I repeat, for a 4 star hotel.
