Mercure Botafogo Mourisco

I spent 4 nights in this hotel, without getting in touch with anyone from Lobie Casa Mauá, the chat is fully robotic and never directs you to a real attendant, not solving problems I had during my stay. Starting with the reservation that is for 2 PERSONS, however when the second person arrived, they did not let him up and the attendants answered that I could not, even the reservation for two people. Second, the air conditioning in the Rio de Janeiro 45C was not cooling and obviously I did not get any response from the hotel, as well as a hair dryer that was damaging and smelling smelly smoke coming out, it was necessary to turn it off the outlet and not use it in any way. The bathroom is extremely dirty, full of mud; there is no clothing change, if the guest dirty the towel, there is no replacement. IT'S NOT WORTH THE VALUE.

We picked up a spacious room, bathroom ok, comfortable and quiet. Simple, but super catered! Attention at the office ok, however the check in is not so fast and practical. Around there are bars, convenience, taxi stop. At night it's a little weird.

Botafogo Privelege is set in a great location within Botafogo. The room I had was very spacious and clean. There is also a communal swimming pool and gym on site as well. I like how Botafogo Praia Shopping Centre is close by. There are also other restaurants just outside the Hotel as well. The beach is close by as well. The area seemed safe when I was walking back from the shopping centre. The area is busy and always a lot of traffic flow. Fairly easy to walk but there is a fair bit of vehicular traffic coming through, so use the crosswalks and pedestrian lights to assist in your navigation. I was able to have my meals at the close by Botafogo Praia Shopping Centre however there are also other restaurants, take away and bars nearby as well. There is a coffee machine available in the lobby. I had a bit of problem with the facial recognition Secured entrance however the concierge desk was able to give me access.
