Pousada Villa Vecchia

The building is old, no maintenance, bad beds, the bathroom tap not working properly, the shower slips little water, the room was not cleaned, poor breakfast (breads and cakes of bad quality), poorly washed dishes. The only convenience is its location, very close to the bus station and central region of Canela, I do not intend to return.

A very nice place, just a few steps from the bus station, good breakfast, quiet neighbourhood, very close to Caxias do Sul university campus, and great staff. Excellent for both business or vacation trips.

Villa Vecchia is a very clean and nice place to stay in Serra Gaúcha in Southern Brazil anytime of the year. On high Season which is Fall and Winter all the major big hotels are full of tourists that come over to enjoy this European part of the southern mountains inhabited by Germans and Italians. The good choice is to stay in a cozy place like this. Pousada Villa Vecchia is a few blocks from the famous stone Cathedral downtown Canela. Breakfast is included.
