D'Sintra

We stayed 9 nights in Hotel D'Sintra with our two little children and it was an excellent experience, we would come back a thousand times. The hotel is beautiful, facing the sea, and the location is simply perfect. What marked me most was the presence and dedication of the team. From breakfast to the reception, everyone was always very kind, the staff at the cafe used to play with the children. The maneuver was so attentive that he warned us about a light that appeared on the dashboard of our car, explaining what it might be. Special highlight for the manager Camila, extremely helpful and resolute (more about this below). The structure is great: spacious and well-ventilated rooms, heated and nice indoor swimming pool (it's a bit deep, so with children it's worth using boia), outdoor pool with wonderful sea views, jacuzzi and a toy school that my children loved. The breakfast is full and delicious — quite a variety of fruits, breads, cakes and sweets — and the nearby restaurant is also very good. The cleaning is impeccable and fast: several times we went out for coffee and returned with the room already arranged, which with children makes all the difference. Points of attention, in the name of sincerity: - The windows open a lot. Many people will like the ventilation, but on high floors and with small children this seemed dangerous to me, it is the suggestion of some kind of lock or opening limiter. - We had an unpleasant episode with the employee in charge of cleaning the kids area and the leisure bathrooms. On the day 16/06, around 9:30, my 3-year-old son had to use the bathroom to do coco and she reacted badly, saying that "it wasn't time for children to use the bathroom", and, obviously, a child has no time for it. Still released the use, but the bathroom was full of chlorine and ended up staining and spoiling my son's clothes. It was a posture without empathy in the face of a child's basic need. What made all the difference was the care of the management: we took the case to Camila, who was attentive, welcoming and solved everything — if he proposed to replace the short or repay, and today (18/06) the hotel made the repayment. This careful listening and solving says a lot about the house. Overall, super recommend. A beautiful hotel, well located, with great structure for the family and a team that, except for this punctual episode, serves with true affection. We will definitely return the next time we visit Balneário.

Hello, I just arrived from Brazil and stayed in sintra for the third consecutive year, this year I consider the service very bad. We arrive give us the room where the vacha and Water clogged, what a guy comes to uncover, he pulls piles of grime hairs in my presence, where we needed a shower after the long trip, still covered and appears sanitary with appliances and other what requests change of room, with the worst wave, the bathroom full of ants... never came um in charge of apologizing, at least I should tell you fear an invitation dinner, I add that the room for 7 nights almost 100000 Uruguayan pesos, given that you choose the best hotel for your vacation. Not only that but... that I lost two pieces between the towels and I consult the girl who receives the towel and answers "no idea", can you find out? Ok said ... the next day I consult again "no idea" and there I was without my clothes...what outrage for so little interest with the tourist...very come to at least all the facilities, the lousy breakfast, the wifi never connected ...in short I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AND STOP GOING ...

We stayed 3 days in a triple room on the 14th floor with a side view of the beach. The hotel has a great location facing the sea and with all kinds of commerce around.. Spacious room, good bed, cleanliness ok, outdoor pool, heated and jacuzy good size.. Breakfast is quite complete, but I make a reservation in the breakfast space, the chairs around the tables are very large which makes it difficult to pass at the time of serving. The bathroom duck is also bad, the water falls very concentrated and accumulates water in the box.. For this reason note 8.5. But .. would host me again
