POSITIVE POINTS: Sustainability policy. Message in the towel reuse room, reusable identification bracelets with reading chip in the restaurant. Registration system according to new law: With CPF system searches all data in .gov. Executive dishes with great price (32 to 38), delicious and well served. Team of helpful and friendly staff. PROACTIVE SUBJECTS: More complete menu (there was no option with pasta or snacks). Interconnection of the elevator control, today are independent: call the 2 and come the 2. Thus spent up to 50% more of electricity. The bathroom has no outside window. Mechanical exhaust should be provided for the exit of odors. General revitalization: outdoor paintings, varnish on wooden tables, metals from BWCs, etc.

Experience report — Hotel Serra Alta | São Bento do Sul, SC I come through this report to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience experienced during the attempt to stay at Hotel Serra Alta, located in the municipality of São Bento do Sul, Santa Catarina. On Friday afternoon, I made a reservation at this establishment and, on the same occasion, I sent a message to the hotel informing that I would be accompanied by two small children and two small Spitz dogs. It should be noted that, both on the Booking platform and on the hotel’s official Instagram profile, there are images and videos suggesting the acceptance of pets in the accommodation, including the display of pet beds. The hotel returned the contact only the next day, at the end of the day. When I learned the answer, I was already on my way to my destination, with the vehicle loaded with luggage, children and the legitimate expectation of a deserved rest. To my astonishment, the establishment informed at that time that it would not be possible to receive the animals. In view of this, we were forced to cancel the reservation as a matter of urgency, turning what should be a leisure moment into an extremely negative and exhausting experience for the whole family. In view of the above, I point out the following shortcomings: inefficient and timeless communication; advertising information that does not conform to the internal policy of the establishment; and lack of consideration with the guest in the face of a misunderstanding generated by the institution itself. For these reasons, I do not recommend this hotel and will not return to the establishment.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
