Radisson Hotel Aracaju

A lot of pomp at the entrance and then no glass to drink coconut water, you think. It got 3 stars because the breakfast is sensational and the atmosphere of the pool area is also very cozy, other than that I didn't see anything special. In my opinion, it's not worth the daily rate. I went to see and I'm not coming back

I expected more, much more from this hotel. Reviews tend to be too positive and create high expectations about the hotel. At the end of the day, it's an old, renovated hotel, but it leaves something to be desired in many points. To start, I had the worst experience I've ever had during a check-in. I waited for more than 20 minutes standing waiting for it to happen. Only two attendants to do that. The service that was advertised as "VIP" on the wall sign was accessed by people who were initially in the regular queue and, upon realizing it, not only the delay in service, but the "possibility" of pulling the "Brazilian way" (getting preferential treatment), they went there and, without any difficulty, had their check-in done in front of several other people, including the elderly. The service, despite the drawbacks, was very good. The rooms are around an open central area of the lobby and this causes the noise to reverberate at certain times of the day. The doors do not filter the noises as they should. Any transit with suitcases down the hallway is enough to hear loud noise. The walls, in turn, have excellent soundproofing. Breakfast just okay. Large room, good quality sheets and towels. Terrible shower, despite being strong. Needs cleaning (although it is a self-cleaning dryer, it needs maintenance in this regard). Finally, it's a 5-star hotel, but which in my view should be rated as 4 at most. For those who understand, it is clear. I didn't frequent the leisure area because I didn't want to, but it seems okay. Raizes restaurant I didn't use, but analyzing the menu, it has prices even higher than those in the city.
