Eagles Nest

Delayed food service, cold food and a bad attitude. We had chicken skewer and french fries on 19 July 2026. The meal arrived cold, really cold as if it had been sitting for the 15 minutes we enjoyed our drinks. While the chicken was reheated, the French fries were still cold, we lost confidence in the safety of the food. The staff member shrugged claiming it was not his fault, “it is the cheapest place in Bansko”, there was no refund, no discount, not a slight apology. We went to the Eagles Nest, it looked like a nice place for a meal to enjoy, not a cheap meal, not a cold meal. It was a very disappointing interaction with staff, a truly bad reflection on the town but more importantly a potential food safety issue.

Myself and my Partner stayed at Eagles Nest for 7 days in February 2018. Our apartment had fully equipped kitchen, huge living/dining room, spacey bathroom and a balcony. Located only 5 minutes from the gondola. Staff were always friendly and helpful. We are definitely going again next winter and I have already recommended it to friends.

In Nov 2016 I've booked an apartment (booking.com), but I had to cancel it In February 2017 - some personal problems. A transaction has been made, the property redrawing from my account 457 BGN. I've sent several mails, but until now I haven't received my money back.
