Katarino Hotel & Spa

The hotel is wonderful, and we’ve been vacationing there for several years in a row. We are skiers. Overall, we are very pleased with everything. We were extremely impressed by the following positive changes introduced this year: • breakfast now starts at 7 a.m., which is very convenient and important for early‑rising skiers; • at dinner, there is water on the table. We also really enjoy the lemon water available throughout the hotel. We have the following remarks and would be happy if they could be addressed, so that our stay becomes even more enjoyable: • it is too warm, even hot, throughout the entire hotel, especially in the rooms. It is impossible to sleep. It turned out that the radiators cannot be turned off. Even though we turned ours off, they continued heating, because they apparently receive heat from the system. Even open windows didn’t help. We kept them open constantly, but we were in an attic‑type apartment on the top 4th floor, and the air simply didn’t move. • we usually adore the food at Katarino, but this time we noticed a problem with the grill — everything prepared on the grill just wasn’t good: dry, tasteless. The bacon prepared by the hotel for breakfast was also very tough. • in the room, most of the time we had no internet or it was of very poor quality.

Great hotel! We are repeaters! Very well warmed hotel in all areas. Clean. Beautiful views! Spacious rooms. All staff very well trained. Food superb: variaty and quality. The best food we have ever had in a spa hotel. Highly recommended!

We spent a weekend here and for sure are not coming back . Apart from the good food on the breakfast and the dinner ,the hotel is very disappointing : - outdated rooms and facilities - over priced food and drinks - nobody is cleaning around the pools , wet , muddy and sticky floors ( all this is coming back to the water) - the restaurant interior looks like coming from early 90’s - small rooms and tiny bathrooms
