Royal Castle

Our holiday in Bulgaria at the Hotel Royal Castle Design & SPA in ELENITE BULGARIA was a complete disaster. 10 days of a dirty non filtered pool, with a Rat found dead in it on day 6 was not my idea of relaxing! There were other numerous issues raised with the hotel as love holidays suggested on day 3! But there was very little change. Then when we got home, they said we had to re submit or complaint to the aftercare team. Who thought at first compensation of 170 odd as a total to be split between 7 people was enough. It was then revised to 500 odd between 7! This is a joke! I work hard all year for 1 abroad holiday for my family and can't even get in the pool! Undercooked food, staff not washing hands, broken sunbeds, paint peeling in the pool, ants everywhere around the pool as it was never cleaned down. Stagnant water in the filtration parts around the pool, broken chipped tiles everywhere. Someone cut there foot. Ants in the rooms. No entertainment, no spa treatments available, drink were generally warm. The toast was falling apart, the had no butter for rolls ir toast for 8 days of the holiday. Expected me to have toast with cream cheese and jam?? The staff didnt have a clue! The water park thats free to go to is a joke! See pictures, just as dirty! And 1 slide! Room on 6 floor windows open fully, no guard to stop someone falling! Health & safety nightmare all round! It is the worst holiday I've ever had. DO NOT GO to this hotel! Im gutted that Love Holidays said this was an acceptable hotel to put us in. The only plus for this hotel are the beds, they are huge and comfy! Inside is very opulent. But that where it ends.

Inside the hotel was amazing rooms clean food was hit and miss sometimes the pool was filthy no filtration working lights in the pool were loose and just floating the water park attached to the hotel water was also filthy and only 1 old slide working most staff not very helpful ment to be a 5 star hotel we have stayed in better 3 star hotels

Good bartenders(Bogdan and Artyom),drinks delicious(sex on the beach )(good serviters (Artyom),the best bartenders in the world (Artyom)everything liked,push clean ,five stars,I'll be back next year (for Artyom ) the best bartender ,was very cool
