Spent a fabulous, relaxing week in this family run hotel. Had a room with balcony and sea view and friends were accommodated next door... perfect. The hotel and room was spotless. Toni the owner was very helpful, even arranged a trusted taxi to and from the airport. The hotel is situated with easy access to the town centre and numerous restaurants along the coast. Highly recommend a stay here.

We met a really friendly host at this modest establishment. The ‘guest house’ rooms were above a cafe and ‘ok’ (not as good as the booking.com pictures and for us no ocean view - but I understand there are rooms like that so ask). Despite this the location was great with a short walk to anywhere in this fascinating old town. The rooms themselves were basic with tired furniture and fittings but still functional and clean. The shower was hot and plentiful so I guess the room did everything we needed it to. Not luxurious by any measure but reasonably priced for Old Nessebar (€50) and not enough wrong to complain about.
The cafe was equally simple in its offering with local beers €2 !! and good coffee served with a lovely smile. I did see an extensive range of Scotch Whiskey so if that’s your thing your evenings will be mellow. Despite it’s a cafe food did not seem to be on offer to any extent but that didn’t matter as you will be surrounded by other establishments to serve your other needs.
See my other Old Nessebar posts - just be content with overpriced average food and don’t stress too much, I think most places offer much the same experience.

We travelled to France, Italy, Greece, went to Sozopol and finally to Nessebar and we had the absolute best time in Nessebar. The family has owned their hotel for 23 years. It’s so clean, the views are spectacular. In the heart of old town near by many restaurants and cafe plus shopping. The family is amazing! They have a small breakfast menu and my children wanted homemade mekichki so they made my kids a breakfast that wasn’t offered but also added home made fig jam that was heavenly. After checking out on our last day we had a home made lemonade and the owner offered us some fresh fruit from her moms garden. Her husband is just as sweet and polite. We spent 6 weeks traveling through many countries but nobody was as sweet, accommodating and as caring as the owners of St George Old Town Hotel in Nessebar. the room was spotless, the sheets crisp and clean ironed and the towels fresh. We were so happy and will come back next summer to stay with them longer.
