Sol Marina Palace

Not been back a week yet but went for a week , that was a mistake I didn’t want to come home could have stayed longer O my goodness . Wasn’t too sure about this hotel when I had booked only having the roof top pool with sunbathing areas , I shouldn’t have been , Fan bloody tastic Tui only rate it as a 3 star plus Well we went to Cape verde to a Rui 5 in June and this hotel was much superior the 5 star was poor compared to this Always got a sun bed up on the roof pool area The most fantastic scenery from up there Drink was very good Food was lovely Not loads of choice but certainly plenty of lovely food Fresh fruit was beautiful Very a mad rush in the restaurant Went to the fine dining one night that was really good too Met some lovely people there very friendly When we got there I had asked for a a double bed a quiet high up room with a nice view Got the double bed but looked on to the street I was dissapointed when we got there but that was soon forgotten when we went upto the roof area and saw the view Amazing So we give this little hidden gem 10/10 for the hotel and staff all lovely Adults only was very peaceful too , never ventured far but there was plenty to do and see in easy walking distance We will go back to this hote and Bulgaria in general we loved it Airport was straight forward

A pretty great experience with a few caveats There is the odd problem with the room - just little decorating details or maintenance tissues (we had a part of the coving was collapsing (326) and in bathroom the cement under tiling was only partly painted but nothing serious. The entire building has an outer ‘wall’ made of glass panels which are clearly really hard to clean - bad design Food was all pretty good but scrambled eggs were really odd (a strange chemical taste) Gluten free was signed but the best lady to talk to on these issues was away for the first 2 nights and staff clueless! Train them to know/understand these issues and I’d have had a much better idea of labelling Staff generally lovely and a comfy bed We love NESSEBAR too! Would recommend!

Lovely hotel with great views over to old Nessebar. Adults only gave a nice relaxing atmosphere. The skybar was such a lovely area to sit day or night. The restaurant was so clean and the food was always refreshed and good selection. The outside space also gave a good option to dine outside. There is a microwave to heat food if not hot enough which i always find helpful. The staff throughout the hotel are so helpful and welcoming. Special shout out to Tatyanna and her staff as they really could not do enough for you. Kris and Luka in the roof bar so nice and so attentive. The area is good for exploring the Old town and sunny beach if you want. The beaches provide great swimming options for all levels as can wade out far before need to swim. Really loved the hotel and surrounding area, would definitely return.
