We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and our group had 3 rooms. Let's start things off with the good things. The hotel is very clean, well built and decorated. In terms of appearance it really does punch above it's weight class. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, some offer a good view, that you can also get from the rear terrace. The staff is friendly and eager to help. This is a nice place if you just want some quite time away from the noise of the city. Sadly, that is where the good part ends, and I continue with what...can and should be improved. First off, the staff only speaks Bulgarian. We only found one young man at the reception that spoke some English. When he was not around, we really missed him. Even though we visited at the end of Spring, it was apparently too cold for the pool to be opened. Not only that, but the surrounding grounds were in great dissaray. But apparently it was hot enough for the heating to be turned off. That's right, no temperature control, just more blankets. The restaurant only works in the afternoon, except when it doesn't. The breakfast was quite frugal. As for lunch, I ordered some pasta carbonara that were lumps of pasta drenched in a sauce with no taste and parmezan on top. Worst pasta I have ever had. The cake I had for desert was basically some balls of cream cake. No cake, just the cream. Just go and eat at the restaurant near by. That is actually the only other place you can eat. It's not anything spectacular, but much, much better than the hotel restaurant. Although it claims to be a 3 star hotel, there are no bug nets, no mini fridge, no temperature control, almost all TV channels are in Bulgarian, there are no chairs in the rooms. The one thing that we found most annoying, was that we asked if we could exchange one of the rooms, for any other room with a view, and the girl at the reception said it was possible only by upgrading to another room. The thing is, there were other regular rooms with a view, considering we were the ONLY ones staying at the hotel. The next night, 4 more people arrived, but that was it. About 11 occupants in total, but no free rooms with a view. I would only recommend this hotel if you find it at a decent price, are Bulgarian, or are just really unfussy.

I am very sorry that I have to write this review, but my friends and I are very unsatisfied with the service. And I am talking about one particular woman at the reception. At very first, with our arrival at the hotel, we were greeted very rudely by her. She wasn't at her working place - the reception and when she came after we had waited for 20 minutes, she yielded at us with the words "I am not an ambulance, so you will have to wait as long as it has to". The woman was also a manager of the hotel as we saw her taking care and preparing the breakfast with other staff. Тherefore the breakfast was very poor - there wasn't basic stuff like scrambled eggs, proper meat, and cheese, which are very common in every hotel in Bulgaria. When we were leaving the hotel we suffered another unprofessional attitude by the same woman at the reception. She was unable to issue an invoice, wasn't familiar with the software and we waited for about 1 hour with other people on the queue. She also doubted our online reservation from booking.com and this was the tip of the iceberg. I am very sorry because the hotel is very clean with beautiful design unfortunately accompanied with poor service and untrained people.

We stayed here in July 2017 and had a wonderful visit. The staff was way above average and went out of their way to make us comfortable and to feel special! We especially enjoyed the pool and the bar after hiking in the mountains. The room was very very clean. Just be aware there is no air conditioning and on some nights can be warm.
