A very expensive hotel with services that do not correspond to these prices. Swimming pool with min. The water is very small, the Jacuzzi is shallow (only for children). The Turkish bath does not always work, the Finnish sauna is also not always heated properly. But the worst thing is the staff. Not professional, almost no one says hello. On the website it says they speak Russian - no one speaks. Except for the maid Emilia, who is the only one who deserves praise!!! And this is led by a manager (speaks Russian) who, at the first problem we had, promised to sort it out, but a day passed and nothing (???) then she locked herself in her office, calling 3 employees in turn but not letting me in (????) . I have never encountered such boorish behavior anywhere (and we have traveled to many countries) and I do not recommend anyone to rest there, much less to undergo treatment. And there is no treatment there (only massage)

Spa vacation booked for 5 days (4.11 - 8.11) with meals, breakfast with vending machine drinks and dinner without drinks (only for self-payers). Arrival day 4.11: My first impression when we arrived here, we didn't feel welcome or we weren't greeted when we came into the lobby except for getting strange looks. After we checked in, I'm used to being told where everything is, restaurant, spa, etc. but well, nothing came from their side so we went to the room to explore everything. Room and bathroom are OK. After we unpacked, we looked for the restaurant and found ourselves in front of a closed door, in my opinion not particularly inviting because you don't know whether you can go in or not. Just leave the door open so that the guests know it's open. After we opened the door, we went in and chose a table. Only menus were offered and not a la carte. I don't know if only locals go on holiday there, but having a menu in English would have been great so that I, as a non-Bulgarian, could understand what was on offer. After we had ordered, she brought the drinks "quickly" and the dishes one by one until a colleague came and helped. Otherwise it would have taken even longer. It tasted like nothing. After eating, we went back to our room and changed for the spa area. When we arrived in the spa area, we looked around to see what was available and when we got to the pool, I found it very small and a bit disappointing that it looked different in the pictures and on that day it was so full that I didn't even feel like going into the water. We also looked around for a few saunas to try it out. When it was less busy and some people left, we got free loungers and went into the water for a bit. Later we went back to the room to get ready for dinner. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were asked for our room number and chose a seat. We were offered a buffet where the selection wasn't "big", but the food was lukewarm rather than hot. A nice waitress came and asked what we would like to drink. We ordered and were given the bill to sign, which meant that the drinks were not included. Strange concept in my opinion when you book a holiday with meals, OK, I think paying for alcoholic drinks yourself is OK, but it's rather strange with soft drinks or water. Day 2, 5.11: We slept OK. Breakfast was served from 8am to 10am. But in my opinion it's a disgrace, the eggs are not freshly prepared but are on the buffet (fried eggs completely dried out, the hard-boiled eggs are literally HARD boiled, probably more like 30 minutes and cold. Everything that should be warm on the buffet is cold! Toast bread is dry and hard. The "toaster" didn't work... it heated up but didn't move to toast it. I don't understand why they don't make the eggs fresh and if you know that the house isn't full anyway, why they don't offer "a la carte" breakfast before everything ends up in the trash. You could get drinks yourself from the vending machine in a plastic cup. During the day we went on a trip to the center because the shops were open until 1pm. In the late afternoon we came back and went to the spa to relax a bit and booked the room with the salt, I call it the "salt chamber". I've never done that before but it was somehow strange. Instructions or staff who explained why and what it was for. At first there was no staff because the room was locked and nobody knew where the key was. Apparently the spa lady had already gone home and the building technician tried to reach someone by phone to find the key and unlock it. After sitting inside for 45 minutes we came out and went to the pool. There was really nothing going on in the spa because lots of people had left. We wanted to get a refreshment and then we read that if you want service you have to go to the lobby! WTF! Why do you have staff in the spa area who just sit around and use their cell phones? Later we went up to our room and got ready for dinner. When we got to the restaurant there was loud music playing and in the middle of the restaurant there was a big table where all the staff were sitting and celebrating. When we went to the buffet to get food a lot of the salad buffet was already empty and at the "warm" buffet we weren't allowed to take some things because they were apparently for the "banquet staff". In other words the last 3 things at the back! After we sat down, we were annoyed that there was hardly anything to eat and that some of it was just for the staff. It was all well and good that they had something to celebrate, but not when you were on "duty". After that, everyone lost their appetite and went to reception to complain, but there were no staff there because everyone in the restaurant had celebrated and the young man had to come down especially, we were only offered to go to another hotel. WTF, that's what I call complaint management. Supposedly the manager noticed this because she was also sitting at the big table and said maybe she should have come to us to ask what was wrong, but she didn't because she didn't care. But her opinion was that she should have but didn't... strange statement for a manager but OK. It shows how she treats guests and how she doesn't care what guests think of it. We then went out to eat in a restaurant. I'd rather spend money outside and get something hot to eat and service. After we got back to the hotel, there was loud music playing in the restaurant and when we went to the rooms you could still hear the loud music! Thank God you couldn't hear it in the room anymore. We packed up our things because we had decided to talk to the manager again in private the next day before we actually leave the hotel. Day 3, 6.11: After an annoying evening, we woke up annoyed in the morning and went to breakfast. Surprisingly, the same thing happened again and the toaster moved in a few millimeters. WOOW. After that we went down to the terrace to have a smoke and asked to speak to the manager. - [ ] We were offered to change hotels for an additional charge. - [ ] The manager said that it wasn't like that and that we could take anything from the buffet because they had prepared enough. In my opinion, the manager has no idea how to run a hotel, nor her employees, because if you complain as a guest, you should try to satisfy the guest and not say that we could change hotels for an extra charge or if we cancel our spa vacation early, we should at least get the rest of the money back, but that is not the case. So we will try to make the best of it. My friend then went to the gym to do some exercise. But the equipment there is a disgrace and you can't train safely. There are machines with weights but no suitable plugs to lift the weight properly. Do you want to kill people here or injure people? We went to the pool to swim a bit and enjoy the sun outside because the weather was very nice today. The spa area was really nice because it was completely empty. The Moroccan sauna didn't work today, but it has for the last 2 days, why?! The water in the pool wasn't warm today like it had been the last few days and the heating in the bathroom had already been turned off because there weren't many guests in the building. The door to the spa area was also open even though it says that the doors should always be closed. If it's not worth leaving the hotel open, why don't they just give us our money back and we just leave? There are little things everywhere that you see and think why and how?! The only positive thing I can say is that the housekeeping ladies are hardworking and make the beds and change the towels every day. We ordered drinks at the lobby bar and when I saw how she had made the coffees I thought to myself, thank God I didn't order a coffee. ZERO hygiene, the milk nozzles are completely moldy and clogged and there's milk to froth OMG! I just think it's a shame because it's a nice hotel and especially the location. The manager shouldn't be surprised if the guests write a bad review. I don't want to know what chaos there must be here if it were the middle of the season. At the moment there are maybe around 10 people in the house and a lot of employees who probably don't know what their jobs are. We all come from the hotel and hospitality industry and know it very well, but you can see that they still have a lot to learn. I'd rather spend a day at the spa in Vienna and get better service than here with you. It's just a shame about the money THANKS BUT NO THANKS

Berner Alexander (Israel) Relaxing with family and friends. The hotel is cozy, very clean, renovated, the rooms are quite spacious, filled with everything necessary for a pleasant, relaxing, comfortable stay and stay. There are 2 swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, restaurant, several bars, etc. Beautiful views from all sides - the Rhodope mountain range covered with coniferous-deciduous forest, and in the valley, clearly visible, small, but a very pleasant, well-kept city of Velingrad with developed infrastructure, parks, establishments for every taste and need. Air, ecology, they would be like this everywhere. The staff is polite, friendly, the slight language barrier is compensated by their willingness to understand and help. Personal thanks to the senior manager, Mrs. Bazhenova Evgenia, who personally helped in organizing accommodation and during the holiday. I will recommend a stay at your hotel to all my friends and acquaintances.
