Frangipani Royal Palace Hotel

We were a group of 22 people and stayed at this hotel for one night. It is a very basic hotel with limited facilities. The rooms were neat and clean, and the bed linen and towels were of good quality. However, there were several drawbacks. The breakfast was quite disappointing, with almost no options for Indian vegetarians apart from some fruits. The drinking water provided in the rooms did not seem suitable, and we preferred not to use it. There were no slippers provided in the rooms, and the in-room safe was not working during our stay. The hotel is located on a main street, which makes commuting convenient, but overall the property offers only basic amenities. It may be suitable for a short stay if you’re simply looking for a clean room, but don’t expect many facilities or a varied breakfast.

First time we have been "downgraded!" We booked a superior double room and were placed in a standard room. We pointed out the error to them, and the first response was, "There are two designations, but they are the same rooms." However, on the reservation and on the website, there are indeed two rooms: the standard, which is 20m2, and the superior, which is 30m2... Then the receptionist told us that, in fact, the superior rooms have a view that the standard rooms do not have. So they are not the same... In any case, the room we had was 20m2 and did not have any special view. As he did not want to hear anything, we wrote to the manager on the 10th, and to this day we have received no response. Faced with such dishonesty and a glaring lack of consideration, I thought it useful to report this behavior, far from everything we encountered during our two weeks in the country.
