High Sky Hotel

In my opinion only 4 second hand stars. Not worth 1 european star. AC not capable the room, no laundry service, staff does not care anything, AC in restaurant is only used for decoration, supervisor not available. It's not 5 minutes, it's 20 minutes by tuktuk away from river road/center.

Stayed for three nights in total and whilst the room was clean and the staff did there best I personally would not choose to stay here again. On my first night I ate at the Hotels restaurant as there did not appear to be much of anything else close by. The meal was dreadful and overpriced and the four or five staff standing around were totally disinterested in providing any type of service at all. In fact it seemed like an inconvenience when I had to search them out to get another drink. The meal was covered in insects and tasted horrible. Also the hotel is on the wrong side of the river and you are totally isolated from the main city and need to cross two bridges to get here, it took 90 minutes in busy traffic to get to the hotel from the airport. Never again.

This hotel is a 3 star hotel at most, but I give it a 1 star after the staff told us that there are 6 towels missing after we checked out and they want us to pay $5 each for them. We have no idea where those towels are and maybe they were never placed in the room in the first place...? Based on principle, we did not want to pay for the towels. After explaining and talking to the owner representative, things got shorted out among their staff. But they already disappointed us greatly regarding this missing towels issue. We stayed here in 2015 and enjoyed the Mekong view off the suite room. We stayed in the suite rooms again in August 2017 that's when the towel issue took place. We are never going to stay here again.
