Claremont Angkor Boutique Hotel

Recently renovated. Clean and safe hotel. Old fashion-style hotel, but charming, with many westerners customers (so, it is a good sign). Very convenient near the river and city center. Nice rooftop bar and restaurant. Excellent quality price (booked thru Agoda) for the services provided. Very nice and gentle staff and manager. This is the most important ! Buffet breakfast ok, but could be better. Anyway, it does the job for the price paid ;), so it is not really a complaint, but an encouragement for better performance. Will recommend definitively to others for a simple, but efficient hotel.

Spacious room with good a/c. A little dated but in keeping with the building. Good breakfast on the rooftop, staff cook to order. Quiet yet only 15 mins from the night life. Good restaurant (Palate) 2 minutes walk away. Main square where locals play kick badminton and Zumba 5 mins walk, but beware you will be invited to join in! Siem Reap has a lovely ambience.

Service is 10/10. When we walked in we were given fresh orange juice and cool, moist face towel while our luggage was brought in. Room had great air conditioning and there is a safe to lock your valuables when you go out. Laundry service was affordable and is priced by weight. After going out, I got an in-room massage with aroma oil for one hour. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep. Room clean service is every morning unless you put the do-not-disturb sign on the door. If you ever need anything extra like towels or toilet paper, you can just ask the friendly lobby staff.
