We enjoyed an overnight stay at the Motel 6 in Airdrie, and found it to be clean, quiet, confortable, and convenient. It is accessible within a short distance from Highway 2, and located near casual restaurants, Canadian Tire and Superstore. Our room had a wonderful kitchenette including a full-sized fridge, micowave, and cooktop, which was perfect for the two of us. There was a little bit of highway noise which was a bit of white noise during our sleep, and not an issue for us but perhaps could be for light sleepers--ask for an odd-numbered room, perhaps, to face the other direction instead. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and provided me with extra coffee pods on request. We would stay here again!

It’s really a hotel, not a motel. Internal corridors with controlled entrances. There’s a. Indoor pool. Room was nice. Clean. Simple. Bed was very comfortable. Fridge but no microwave, maybe that is an option. Coffee, tea, and bananas in the lobby. Vending machines in the lobby have frozen entrees, including vegetarian, ice cream, and other useful travel items, eg wall charger for $7.00. Maybe it won’t last a decade l, but just what I needed, now. Front desk staff were very nice to us at late night check in and we saw them being friendly with others. 4th floor room was quiet with a mild fragrance, maybe a cleaning product smell, that was okay. TV has HDMI port on the front! HDMI cable available in vending machine. Very good value.

Grandparents with 6 and 9 year old for a week. Facility is very clean, staff were all very pleasant. There was some confusion on checkin due to a change with expedia not showing up on their computer initially, but it was resolved within a short time. Beds are comfortable, seem new. We had a kitchenette, which had a full sized fridge, a good quality large microwave, and a two burner stovetop. Dishes, cutlery, pots and frying pans, etc all stocked and in good condition. No rugs, which made for a much cleaner floor. The pool is not huge, length is about the half the size of a standard width, but it was big enough to be enjoyable. Pool area also very clean. Only thing that I think is missing is a safe in the room. Very convenient to CrossIron Mills Outlets, and Calgary Airport. There are some indoor children's activities close to the airport, like the Big Box indoor activity center and the Flying Squirrel trampolines. Easy driving distance to the zoo and Spark center. Only a short distance to Canadian Tire and SuperStore and Dollar Store. Location definitely is excellent.
