This resort is located close to downtown Banff and the Trans-Canada freeway. The unit is dated but in better condition than we expected after reading all the negative comments. Other than the old couch and chair, the rest of the unit was clean and in good condition. We especially liked the free parking, free WIFI, free mid-week maid service, no extra resort fee that most resorts now charge, and no other fees for the week. The only real negative was the indoor hot tub was still under repair, but there was an outdoor hot tub available. The resort personnel were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others.

Front desk Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The evening driver was very kind and helpful. Hotel was easy to access and had a shuttle which was very convenient. The suite is dated but was spacious worked well for our family of four. The amenities were very dated, laundry room is open until 9PM, but the management kept it open a little later so we could finish our load much appreciated. The maintenance on this property, seems to be an ongoing issue, pool stank and didn’t seem very clean, heard guest complaining of plumbing issues. Our unit had a couple of noticeable deficiencies. Big didn’t impact our stay. Very family friendly, spoke with other guests while we waited for our laundry. All felt the property was a good landing pad after long days of exploring the mountains.

Great staff and nice on site bar and restaurant, plus much needed guest laundry facility. However, the rooms were basic and fairly dated. The resort itself is in a great location on the edge of Banff overlooking the nearby mountain (sorry, can’t remember its name) but you need you use the minibus or it’s a 40 min walk to the centre. The minibus was a bit dirty and beaten up for ferrying guests.
