Delta Royal Canadian

I came here as a 60th bday and was told it was a boutique hotel. I walked in and the lobby was basic and dated. I explained my concern and then asked for an upgrade as part of the American Express. We check into our room and it has a view of a construction site. I was told this is the only room they have available

Room quite large and very adequate. Two queen beds in room, very comfy with good pillows. All staff very helpful and friendly, especially Neil on the concierge desk who was very helpful in planning our few days in Banff. Location great. Definitely happy to recommend, we would stay here again.

The rooms and hotelservice were good and they have a perfect spacious garage. The restaurant however is except from the waitress not good at all. The floor was dirty, and the kitchen was two out of four not capable to serve what promised, and it took time and time. The breakfastwindow is completely wrong. Starting at seven only for buspassengers means the restaurant is too small for other guests who payed the breakfast in advance. I would expect better from a experienced restaurant.
