Old, neglected, reception access not accessible, no air conditioning, which makes it impossible to sleep in the summer.

On the edge of town and a leisurely 20 mins walk to the centre. This was a disappointing stay. The carpet on the steps leading to the reception was frayed and a clear indication of the state of the hotel. The room was large with 2 king size beds. It was dark and musty. The net curtains were ripped and the windows did not close securely. Furniture was 1970's. No meals were available as "we only cater for group meals" and were told to have our meals next door at the Chateau Jasper. The cafe/snack shop was occasionally open but most of the time was padlocked. We were not advised that rooms will be cleaned and towels replaced on request only. I would not stay here again.
