Tonquinn Inn

A must-stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms and pool, the on-site restaurant is divine and we loved the firelog in the suite. Such a nice touch.

Excellent location, very convenient to downtown Jasper restaurants. The family suite was spacious and perfect for us. The room was a little dated but very comfortable and clean. Sorry we didn't get to use the pool, etc. The staff was super helpful and friendly. I left a pair of earrings on the nightstand and they were really kind about helping to return them. I thought the Tonquin Inn was a good value for the price. We'd definitely book again if we return to Jasper.

For some reason I was given a suite. Possibly what's known in America as an efficiency: everything I (and a family of four) needed to serve my/our every need. I chose to sleep in one of the front bedroom's beds. My tour of the Canadian Rockies was crammed with memories but all I can remember about my room is that it lacked nothing. Maybe a little on the quaint side, the way hotels can be when family-run, and nothing wrong with that. It's in real Canada so feeling welcome starts when you walk in the door. (Imagine a heart emoji here :o)
