Best Western Port O'Call

We travelled to Calgary for an extended weekend to take in some attractions. I didn’t realize when I booked the room that the hotel offers discounted prices for certain attractions. We were able to get our tickets for Heritage Park, Calgary Zoo and Calaway Park right at the front desk which was great as we didn’t have to stand in line to purchase once at the attraction. The room and water park were great, the paid buffet for a family of four was reasonably priced.

Happily surprised to say this was the best hotel of our trip to Calgary, Banff and Drumheller this summer. The pool was excellent. We didn’t need to use the wrist band system since both times we went swimming in the morning and my little guy loved it. We had a couple room issues but the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was included in our rate and was fine, with a very big selection of what you’d expect breakfast food to be. We also ordered room service for my six year old and it was very good. The hotel is perfect for families.

Great hotel. Nice room, only disappointed was the toilet been so low felt like I was back in kindergarten. Walk-in shower would be a nice touch, plus a water saver.
