Canadas Best Value Inn Calgary

You should avoid this Inn like the plague. This place is a drug infested dump where the Maintenance Man threatens to beat you on the head with his hammer if you come out of the room while he "fixes" the lockless door. I had to call 911 2 times & left the hotel immediately. Oh, the staff. They are just the worst, rude, callous, inattentive, incompetent. Go there expecting some episode & you may be at grave risk of violence.

My wife rented a room for me through trip advisor and checked the box that it was fofr another person and when I showed up they wanted to see the credit card I did not have it because it was done online .but got charged for the room told the credit card company that she was checked in and charged her she explained everything to credit card company what happened sure it was only $ 55 but we are doing this for the principal and how many other people have they done this to I will do a follow up and let you know what's going on.BE CAREFUL NOT TO STAYING THERE

Older style motel with basic facilities but quiet, easy parking right outside the room. A few decent dinner options within walking distance. Area seemed relatively safe at night, we were there on a Saturday night. No kettle in the room but we were able to borrow one from reception. Included breakfast was basic but good.
