We booked a night stay in the Fairmont gold junior suite. Check in was smooth, room was spacious though designed was dated, services varies with different staff.
However what made the experience of stay unpleasant was the limitation of breakfast to only at the club lounge. In all the other countries I visited, I always have the option to choice between main dining and the lounge. And what worst was the variety of food was way too little. And when we tried to order eggs of our choice, we were told that it comes with extra charge. We are truly shocked since this is quite common to be provided for hotel breakfast even if at club lounge.
This is my second Fairmont hotel in Canada within the same trip but was overall disappointed. Would not consider staying in Fairmont brand for my future holidays even in other countries.
