Holiday Inn Express Calgary South

Had an awful experience at this hotel, DO NOT GO. Came here to stay a night as a group of graduates trying to celebrate our achievement and travel after fundraising money for a whole year. Booked ahead and paid before we arrived. As we tried to check in there was a payment issue and staff were not very willing to help, manager was very rude once he came out. One of our chaperones tried to fix the situation but he didn't listen to her concerns, told her to stop talking, walked away when we tried to talk, and began yelling and escalating the situation when there was no need to. There was no respect towards us as customers, we felt like we were even looked down upon as he spoke to us. Once he brought the situation to a higher level where it shouldn't have gone at all another chaperone began recording for our and he just blew up. Threatened to charge more on us after, stealing grad money that we worked so hard for. After everything they did, they called the cops on us despite us doing nothing wrong.

Awful service. Staff was rude, uncooperative and generally unpleasant. Spoke down to us and ended up calling the cops on us for swearing.
