Rundle Mountain Lodge

They have the fluffiest towels, the pool was clean, coffee, ice and water in the lobby, friendly staff. Mini fridge in the room and lots of outdoor seating. The tv was perfectly hung in the corner. The portable Ac unit was appreciated as it was hot. Several dining options within walking distance. I know stays are pricier in the mountains, but the room could use some love. Dated and lots of dings in the walls. Smelled liked whatever the last person was cooking (my guess is lasagna). The one mattress was warped and curled on one side and there were no headboards.

With the snow Saturday we decided to try and get a room here at Rundle Mountain Lodge. We had family stay here before and highly recommend it. Unfortunately that’s not the case for us we had a disappointing experience at Rundle Mountain Lodge. While the facility itself was decent, our interaction with the manager, Dawn, left a lot to be desired. At checkout, despite being on a conference call, she made dismissive and ignorant comments toward us. What’s more, she framed certain tasks as ‘favors’ even though we hadn’t requested them. It came across as unprofessional and left us feeling unwelcome. I hope the management can address this, as the rest of the staff and facility had potential, but this was a major letdown. We will not be back.

They are amazing and the lodge is gorgeous. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Check out the amazing retreats they offer.
