HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS HOTEL & SUITES EDMONTON SOUTH

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times for business trips and had previously been satisfied. However, my most recent experience was unacceptable and has ensured I will never return. During my stay, several personal items were stolen from my room—including tampons, multiple containers, and my bag. These are clearly not items that could be mistaken for trash. It took the General Manager two weeks to respond, only to tell me that housekeeping must have thrown them away. This explanation made no sense and felt dismissive. Worse still, no meaningful action was taken to resolve the situation or reimburse me for my stolen belongings. The lack of accountability and customer care was shocking, especially from a hotel I had trusted for multiple stays. I’m sharing this so others are aware—if you value your personal belongings and expect basic respect and responsibility from hotel management, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

We stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Express Edmonton North, booking on points, and found it to be a great value. The location was really convenient for our plans, with lots of parking available, which made things easy. Check-in was quick, and our room was clean, comfortable, and just what we needed for a short stay. A little dated but good all the same. The included buffet breakfast was a nice bonus, plenty of options and everything was fresh and well-stocked. Overall, a reliable and hassle-free stay. We’d definitely consider staying again when we’re in the area.

Came to Edmonton for my mothers funeral. Got there around noon and they were fantastic at getting us into a room right away. No waiting until 3 pm! Was given all discounts available from Military, to Government to AMA. First room was on the 2nd floor and unbeknownst to us, there was a dance competition going on in the city. That meant there were all kinds of young girls and coaches running around. It was quite noisy so we asked if another room was available. Without hesitation, we were changed to a suite on the 6th floor at the end of a hallway where it was beautifully quiet! All the time the staff was courteous, professional and friendly and served us with a big smile on their faces. The room was exceptionally comfortable. Bed was very comfortable with nice clean, white sheets. Pillows were just the right fluffiness so my neck wasn’t sore in the morning. The shower had great water pressure and I thoroughly enjoying my bubble bath in the tub before bed. I would recommend this wonderful place to everyone! However, the Raddisson at the airport will not be getting such a rave review!
