Overlander Mountain Lodge

Check-in was smooth and they were very nice. The views are beautiful. We had the king suite and we had a renovated room. The bed is very comfortable however there is no TV be very aware of this. I know this is not a vacation to need a TV but when you’re trying to relax in the evening, it would be nice. The water wasn’t hot in the shower and for the price that we paid, the amenities were lacking. Not to mention you are 40 km away from Jasper so it would be nice to relax and watch TV in the evening. We weren’t able to use the restaurant, but the menu looked delicious. I would recommend but we paid peak season prices and the price did not match the value.

We stayed for one night on July 22 2026 prior to boarding the Rocky Mountaineer. Although staying in Jasper would have been more convenient I am so happy we stayed at the Overlander. The property was beautiful (we had a 2br villa), the restaurant was great, the service was very friendly and the views from the deck and restaurant are incomparable. My only issue was they didn’t have a/c (I might have missed that in the description) but the staff was very accommodating and brought a fan. By evening it cooled down enough and we were very comfortable. I highly recommend.

Nice cabin with fee parking included. Really nice and well kept grounds around the lodge. However the walls in the lodges are very thin and you could hear the people next door without them even being loud.
