Pocahontas Cabins

We had a great stay at the Cabins! We chose the Executive Miette Cabin since we were going to be there for an extended stay (5 nights). Our cabin was just as pictured, spacious and clean. There were two floors: sitting area with fireplace, kitchen/dining area, and half bath on the lower floor. On the upper floor were two bedrooms with king beds and a bath/shower. We used one of them to spread out our suitcases which relieved the cramped feeling of having everything in one room. It was nice to have the kitchen to prepare breakfast before heading out for the day. The location is 30 minutes from the town of Jasper which was both good and bad. It was more peaceful away from town. Despite it being scenic and passing Big Horn Sheep along the way, the drive down the same stretch of road became tiresome the last two days. There is a craft brewery about 10 minutes in the opposite direction from the cabins which offers an opportunity to have a meal close by. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a specialty coffee machine in the main building with a supply of cookies. We stopped there often! There are also coin operated laundry facilities available on site which was very much appreciated since this was the second week of our trip. If you want a peaceful space and don't mind the drive to Jasper, this is the perfect place for you!

Lovely location (we just stayed a night) and super helpful staff. Our room was clean, but the entrance lobby needed a good clean. The pool area also needs a major refurb. However, the staff and location made this place special.

Miette Mountain Cabins is a most enjoyable and welcoming dwelling for rest and relaxation. It is close to jasper and Hinton for any entertainment or shopping needs, or wants:)!The entire staff, who are most accommodating and pleasant, go out of their way to ensure that your stay is most enjoyable. Pet friendly, a games room, and always coffee, tea and cookies in the sitting area of the main building add to your pleasure. This is truly a delightful place to stay.
