Hampton Inn Edmonton Int'l Airport

We arrived at the end of the day in anticipation of our flight the next day. We regretted not choosing the newly housed Fairfield Inn… Since we usually enjoy Hampton Inns, we went with the cheaper one. What a mistake! As soon as we arrived in the room, a musty smell hit us. The old carpet, the torn and stained curtains that let light through, did not impress us either. The beds were comfortable and clean, but all the furniture is faded and worn (except for the refrigerator). A bottle of Coke found next to the armchair indicates that the cleaning was not done thoroughly, just like the strangers' hair on the shower wall. Breakfast is good and the employees are nice, but we will not return unless there are major renovations. This hotel does not meet the usual standards of Hilton chains.

Hotel is extremely run down and not worth the cost. Carpets are absolutely filthy and ducted taped. Furniture is worn and torn. Whirlpool was cold and jets don’t work. They give you 2 thin towels and the cheapest toilet paper. The pet cost is the highest that I’ve ever paid and is insulting to be charged $50 per pet per stay while the hotel itself is rundown and dirty.

Very dated and in disrepair. This what what the staff have to work with, staff are good, but management needs to give a product that holds to the Hampton Inn Name. This hotel definitely does not live up to the brand.
