Ramada Medicine Hat

Stayed one night while on a motorcycle trip. Room was updated, beds were extremely comfortable, great water pressure and amazing breakfast (hot breakfast with potatoes, eggs, sausage and the usual other cold items). Lobby area and breakfast are bright and clean. Staff was amazing and friendly. They are working on renovations throughout; looking great. Will come back!

This “hotel” was absolutely abysmal. Starting with check in - the staff at the front desk was seemingly on a personal phone call while checking us in. We got up to our room which had a terrible terrible smell of mold. The room was visibly dirty and did not look like it had been cleaned prior to our arrival. The bathroom had a smell so horrible I couldn’t stand to even be in there. The toiletries left for us were half full and looked like they had been used by previous guests. The final straw was the shower curtain rod which was not attached to the wall and fell on me when I pulled the shower curtain. Horrible experience, would never stay here again.

Perfect hotel if you have someone in the Medicine Hat Hospital. My husband had hip surgery replacement in February and I booked a few nights at the Econolodge. What a perfect motel... not fancy, but everything you need and just 3 blocks to walk to visit my hubby. Stayed again this past Friday as he had a follow up appointment with the surgeon. The staff were so kind, continental breakfast delicious, comfy beds, clean, spacious rooms and full kitchen. We will come and stay again... in a heartbeat! Thanks to Sam for getting us checked in to a newly renovated room...we loved it!
