Stoney Nakoda Resort And Casino

We liked this casino because it was close to Banff where we stayed. There were not many people inside, but we did go during the weekday, so the evenings and weekend might be busy. They offer a closed off smoking area to gamble. They have a bar & restaurant.

Couldn't actually stay here this last time although I have previously, and tried earlier this week. Hotel showed as sold out but I stopped and checked front desk as I was traveling by anyway. Was informed that there was indeed a room available,....for $528 a night(plus taxes and fees!)!!! This place is slightly depressing throughout and way, way overpriced. It's worth $200-$250/nt. tops. Very unhappy, Paid over $700 for one night with a jacuzzi tub and handles turned in circles . Could not get proper water temperature, Noisy, phoned to front desk and asked three times for them to address other people and never did. Mentioned to front desk in morning and the lady said let me get manager . She came out Christian Robas Said it hi season to bad ?? take a card and send e-mail. I asked other employees about hi season because it was quite , 3 said in a week or two it will be. better places close by we stayed .
