If this were my property I would be embarrassed to have customers stay in this facility. The outside needs cleaning, painting and work. As you walk into the room there is a old lock on the door that doesn't work (it should be taken off), the walls are all in need for some sanding and paint that isn't rough like sand paper. All the countertops, furniture is chipped, the bathroom vanity is all scratched up. The mattresses could be replaced with something that doesn't sag to the box spring. The bathroom looks like it was slapped up as fast as possible with little regard to making it nice. We have a room that also opens up to the inside hallway - now that was just scary. The floors have been patched with different colors of flooring and some of it looks like it was a wet at one point. The room is clean up just need some love and conscience work on esthetics.

I was passing through the area on vacation and found this Inn. It was conveniently located on the highway going through Castlegar. While the facilities were nice and the room comfortable it was not the best place I've ever stayed at for the price - $132. The room was on the ground floor which was great. The door never closed properly and I had to push or pull it hard to get it to open. It was caused by a misaligned safety lock on the inside. I'm not sure why that lock was there because it required a hard key and the inn never gave me one to lock it. What's the point of a safety lock if it is not functional? The floors were not carpeted and they were cold to walk on. I also know that the second floor rooms were not carpeted because a guest above me walked around with hard sole shoes until 2am and kept me awake. There was also no sound insulation. The light and fan switches for the bathroom were on the outside wall in the hallway, rather a strange place for it. The hallway had a counter with microwave and refrigerator, however, there was no light in the hall. To see inside the refrigerator, i had to turn on the bathroom light and open the door to shed light on the hallway. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. There was a restaurant onsite, however, it closes early - 7pm so I couldn't get anything to eat. I had a late start and checked out at 11 and by then the restaurant had stopped serving breakfast. It's their loss as I didn't feel like ordering anything other than breakfast. Overall not a bad place however I think I'll look for better value elsewhere if staying in Castlegar again.

The hotel had the perfect location for us easy access from the highway and again easy access to highway. The view from our room wasn’t the greatest we were in room 120 but again easy for us to go into the restaurant that was in the same building. Room was not bad but don’t expect to much.
