Mountain Spirit Resort & Spa

On the surface it looked quite nice. Unfortunately there were some issues: There was an extremely strong chemical/perfume smell in the room. We later realized it was coming from the air conditioner. The air conditioner sounded like an airplane engine, extremely loud for trying to sleep. The “TV” was a desk top screen attached to the wall. Pretty small for an expensive room. The bed mattress was worn out. My side of the bed had me rolling into a big dip on the left side of the mattress. Although the unit appeared to have been cleaned, the back wall of the shower had significant mold. The towels were the calibre you expect to find in an ultra economy motel. You are provided one bath towel per guest for a three day stay. There is no housekeeping and with a bill totalling nearly $300 per night, it was disappointing. I have to say we stayed here 3 years ago and were really impressed by the place. I can’t see us ever staying there again.

Mountain spirit resort is absolutely fantastic! The rooms are spacious, clean, 2 bedroom with 2 bathroom is perfect for a family. The full kitchen and island makes for great family dinners. The large balcony that is equipped with table and chairs to enjoy your surroundings.We enjoyed the pool and hot tub! I highly recommend this resort and look forward to coming back!

We were on the main floor. Room was great , bed comfy, furnishings great. Could have better pillows. Only complaint(s) was that air conditioning did not function very well. Granted it was hot during our stay but others in the complex said their room was like a meat locker while ours was very warm (hot). Not sure about the upper floors but our patio glass and windows could definitely use a washing. Front desk staff was great.
